Earlier this week on a trip to Newcastle I popped to St James’ Park to see what all the fuss was about.
I have to admit, it is one of the most impressive stadiums in our fair nation, putting Wembley, Old Trafford and the like in the shade.
But it’s not just their stadium that impresses, so too does the variation of tat they sell in the club shop.
Newcastle-branded salt & pepper pots and logo-adorned cereal bowl were two of the more ridiculous items, although they have been usurped now by the club’s latest offering.
Who on earth would buy one of these?
